Bak Kut Teh was a dish that held many fond memories for me and reminded me of the love that my father had shown me throughout my life. Unfortunately, due to the lockdown, I was unable to indulge in the dish back home and missed home and my father terribly. Starting a food stall was not easy, and it was a new experience for me, with long hours and daily challenges to face. But with the support of our customers, word of mouth, and the friendships we built along the way, it was all worthwhile. I’m grateful that I could share this love and joy with everyone and continue to honor the memory of my father. My only hope is that everyone will cherish and love their parents while they are still with them.
