Finally, after a 2-year halt due to the pandemic, family friendly karaoke outlets are allowed to reopen on April 19 2022 under eased Covid-19 measures!
In line with national guidelines, you have to:
- be fully vaccinated
- keep your mask on while singing
- be in groups no larger than 10 pax
Yes, you have to sing with your mask on, but after 2 years of only singing in my shower and annoying my neighbours, I am just glad I can go to a karaoke studio and sing my heart out!
And now that they are finally allowed to reopen, we have complied a list of family friendly KTVs that are operating from April 19, starting from the KTV operators with the most outlets!
1) Teo Heng KTV Studio

After COVID-19 has taken its toll on the KTV industry, Teo Heng has only 4 operating branches left. And it has announced on social media that it will start taking reservations for karaoke rooms at these 4 outlets (J Cube, Causeway Point, The Star Vista & Suntec City).

Cash Studio is one of the older Karaoke joints in Singapore. However, before COVID, it was still one of the most popular due to the family-friendly environment and reasonable pricings.

If you are into both KTV & Café hopping, 7th Heaven is right for you, especially if you live in the east side of Singapore. Located in SAFRA Tampines, Level 3, they have a total 15 rooms of various sizes. Each room comes with Free wifi, charging port, comfortable sofa, tables, round chairs and excellent sound system and screen. You can reserve a room for private dining, Karaoke, meetings, and games (Nintendo, board & card games available).
Most KTVS don’t really focus on food, but 7th Heaven is different. Thus, even for those who are not intending to sing, your belly would at least be satisfied!

Take note that only the Khatib outlet will reopen for Karaoke on 19 April, with a new look and Jewel Music Box concept, including 20 rooms for various capacity and a lounge. No more painted walls, feature walls and boring wall papers! ACOUSTIC PANELS (sound absorber) are also installed in all their KTV rooms along with Singapore’s leading SOUND SYSTEM (BestAudio) to enhance your singing experience.
The prices stated below are for three-hour packages with FREE Flow of hot & cold drinks/snacks. Even though it’s not $10, I’m sure you’ll find that it’s still pretty worth it!
